The After Work Market 2025 is ready to kick off once again.

On May 8, it’s finally time: the after-work market season is starting up again in Geilenkirchen. From 4 PM to 9 PM, the Geilenkirchen marketplace invites visitors to relax and enjoy.

Due to the May Day holiday, the first After Work Market won't take place on the usual first Thursday of the month, but instead on the second Thursday (May 8). With the exception of the September market (also on the second Thursday, September 11), all other After Work Markets are scheduled for the first Thursday of each month from 4 PM to 9 PM.

The Geilenkirchen marketplace will once again become a meeting spot for young and old alike. With delicious food and drinks in street food style, it’s the perfect place to spend a few enjoyable hours with friends and acquaintances.

The organizers describe the market as follows:
"This year marks the 7th edition of the After Work Market, and we can tell that people are still excited about it, because it’s a great way to spend a few relaxed hours at the end of the week in a laid-back atmosphere. And when the weather plays along, it almost feels like a mini vacation."

With DJ Thomas Bögel providing music, the evenings are guaranteed to have a great atmosphere.

Additional markets are scheduled for June 5, July 3, August 7, September 11, and October 2.
